St. Peter Church
Auburn, NH
Completed 2024
St. Peter Parish was established by the Diocese of Manchester in 1968 in response to the rapid population growth and suburban development of Auburn, New Hampshire, which created the need for a dedicated parish community. Designed by architect Albert J. Roy, the church is an excellent example of mid-century modern architecture, blending with the then-new liturgical norms of the Second Vatican Council
In 2024, MPSB designed and oversaw a comprehensive interior renovation that included the relocation of the altar of sacrifice, restoration of the pews, adjustments to the sanctuary floor, the relocation of the organ console, and the baptismal font. The project also introduced a new decorative painting scheme and new architectural lighting, while the existing terrazzo flooring was carefully cleaned and repaired.
